Registration

DISC 2021 is organized as a hybrid conference, where all participants are free to participate online or physically in Freiburg (more details). Online participation is free of charge. There is a registration fee for physical participation at the conference in Freiburg. Independently of whether the authors of a paper are registered as online or as physical participants, we charge a publication cost of 70 EUR for each full paper and of 40 EUR for each brief announcement (see below).

Free Online Participant Registration

Please fill out the following registration form in order to participate in DISC 2021 or any of the associated workshops as an online participant. Registered online participants will receive all the necessary information (zoom links, etc.) to take part in any of the online DISC 2021 activities. To receive all the relevant conference information in time, we encourage to complete the registration for the online conference by October 2 (later registrations are however possible).

Paid Physical Participant Registration

A paid physical participant registration is necessary to attend DISC 2021 or any of the associated workshops physically in Freiburg, Germany. If possible, we ask to complete the registration for the physical event by September 27 (late registrations are however possible). Please fill out the following registration form in order to register for the physical DISC 2021 event in Freiburg, Germany. The conference fee includes access to the conference sessions, and some basic refreshments & coffee breaks between the sessions. Note that the physical participation fee does not include the publication fee for papers and brief announcements. Because of the limited time to plan the conference, the scheduling of the sessions (which only take place in the afternoons), and the still uncertain Corona situation, the registration does not include any lunches, dinners, or social events. Participants who are not members of the EATCS have to pay a one-year EATCS membership as part of the registration. After filling out the registration form, we will send you a paypal invoice by email, which you will have to pay in order to complete your registration. You should receive your invoice email within 24 hours of filling out the form.

Paper/BA Publication Fee

You will need to pay one paper registration fee per paper or brief announcement. Note that each author must still register for the conference and that the registration for the physical participation in the conference does not include the publication fee. The deadline for paying the fee for your paper is September 27. The paper/BA publication fees are as follows.

After filling out the following form, we will send you a paypal invoice by email, which you will have to pay in order to pay the publication fee. You should receive your invoice email within 24 hours of filling out the form. As part of the following form, we also collect some data on the presentation of the paper/BA at DISC.
