| Instructions to Authors of Brief Announcements |
NOTE: This section is valid for authors of Brief Announcements only. The authors of regular-track papers should follow the "Instructions to Authors of Regular Papers" section.
Papers accepted to the BA-track (Brief Announcement track) at DISC '99 will be put together into a special publication for DISC '99 by the Faculty Edition Center at Comenius University, Bratislava.
In preparing the final version, the authors of BAs must note the following pieces of information:
As for the format (page layout, fonts, style etc.), you should conform to the guidelines from Springer (although the report from Comenius university is not a publication of Springer).
Please refer to Springer's website (http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html) for detailed instructions on how to prepare the final version of your paper. Be sure to download the "Authors' Instructions" (available in ps and pdf formats).
The final version of your paper (including abstract, figures, tables, references, etc.) must not exceed 15 pages. (Since the paper is a brief announcement, we understand that the actual length might be considerably less than the allowed 15-page limit.)
All electronic files of the paper (the latex source files, dvi file of the paper, ps file of the paper, ps files of the figures etc.)

All material must be RECEIVED at the above email address on or before July 6, 1999. This is a hard deadline.
If your paper does not conform to the Springer's guidelines or to the 15-page limit, and/or if any of the required material is not received on or before July 6, 1999, please note that it will not be possible to include your paper in the special publication for DISC '99 BAs by the Faculty Edition Center at Comenius University, Bratislava.
